Navigating a new city as a tourist should be exciting, but when you have a disability, finding accessible transportation can turn it into a frustrating challenge. While everyone else hops into Ubers or local cabs without a second thought, I find myself stuck searching for a vehicle that can accommodate my wheelchair. It’s even more aggravating when you just want to visit popular tourist spots, but the lack of accessible transportation becomes a barrier. It can really ruin the trip, especially when it takes 10 times more effort—and money—just to get from point A to point B.
